AB Intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (IV-tPA) is the treatment of choice for acute ischemic stroke, but it is not effective in >50% of patients with large artery occlusion. This article discusses endovascular therapy (EVT) as a revascularization option for these patients, as well as provides update on aneurysms, arteriovenous malformation, and dural arteriovenous fistula EVT.
