Clinical Outcomes Similar Using Open or Arthroscopic Biceps Tenodesis Techniques

Summary

This article discusses a study conducted to compare the clinical outcomes of open subpectoral biceps tenodesis (OSPBT) and arthroscopic suprapectoral biceps tenodesis (ASPBT). The results showed that OSPBT and ASPBT both produce excellent clinical and functional results for the management of isolated SLAP (superior labral tear from anterior to posterior) or long head of the biceps injury.
