AB Right ventricular apical pacing can generate a nonphysiological activation sequence, leading to mechanical dyssynchrony in the left ventricle. To test whether right ventricular septal stimulation is superior to right ventricular apical stimulation, researchers conducted a randomized study comparing dyssynchronies resulting from pacing at the 2 locations.
