AB Catheter-based renal artery denervation appears to result in sustained blood pressure (BP) reduction with a favorable safety profile in patients through 3 years with consistent benefit across age, diabetes status, and renal function. This article presents the final 3-year results from the Renal Denervation in Patients With Refractory Hypertension trial [Symplicity HTN-1; NCT00664638].
