AB  - A single-center, prospective, randomized, longitudinal study with blinded evaluation has shown that platelet-rich plasma (PRP), compared with the corticosteroid methylprednisolone, provided a greater and more durable improvement in pain relief in patients with chronic greater trochanteric bursitis (GTB).
