AB  - A common issue in the management of elderly patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) is weighing the relative risks of ischemic stroke and bleeding. The article addresses subclinical atrial fibrillation, ablation in the elderly, and stroke prevention with new oral anticoagulants, as well as left atrial appendage closure.
