AB In patients with active cancer and acute venous thromboembolism, tinzaparin reduced the cumulative risk of recurrent venous thromboembolism and significantly reduced the risk of symptomatic deep vein thrombosis. Full-dose tinzaparin did not increase the risk of major bleeding and was associated with a significantly decreased risk of clinically relevant nonmajor bleeding.
