AB  - The two forms of large-vessel (LV) vasculitis—giant cell arteritis and Takayasu arteritis—pose a clinical challenge because they are relatively uncommon, complex to diagnose, and have few treatment options. This article reviews the epidemiology and management of patients with LV vasculitis and highlighted unmet needs with respect to diagnosis and treatment choices.
