Results from the recently completed Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Nondisabling Cerebrovascular Events study [CHANCE] indicate that an early period of clopidogrel plus aspirin reduces the risk of recurrent stroke in these patients without increasing bleeding compared with aspirin alone.
