AB This article provids an update on the diagnosis and treatment of atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT). Specific topics include how the laboratory is used to differentiate the various types of supraventricular tachycardia, different theories of the mechanism of AVNRT, the use of cryoablation in AVNRT, and the use of radiofrequency ablation for AVNRT.
