AB  - The American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) introduced new and/or updated evidence-based clinical practice guidelines in the AHA's journal Circulation and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. This article provides an overview of the guidelines, which were also presented at the 2013 AHA Scientific Sessions.
