Summary
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) has been demonstrated to be an alternative to surgical AVR in high-risk patients, especially older, frail patients with numerous comorbidities. This article discusses accomplishments, trials, paravalvular regurgitation after TAVR, as well as transcatheter mitral valve replacement.
