AB  - Complications of surgical correction of forefoot deformities can be reduced through the use of proper technique during the correction and through proper immobilization and protection following the procedure. This article discusses potential complications associated with hallux valgus (HV) surgery, strategies to manage and prevent the complications associated with HV surgery, the treatment of lesser toe deformities, as well as complications and solutions to metatarsophalangeal joint instability.
