AB The optimal treatment for femoral shaft nonunion after intramedullary nail fixation is controversial and is a challenge for orthopaedic surgeons. This article discusses a retrospective study comparing nail exchange with augmentation plating to treat femoral shaft nonunion after nail fixation.
