Summary

This article reviews data on the feasibility and accuracy of sentinel node biopsy after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and discusses the latest advances in breast reconstruction following mastectomy, as well as the use of preoperative MRI for the detection of multicentric disease in women diagnosed with breast cancer.
