AB This article discusses the current landscape and future prospects in the management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and state of the art concepts. Specific topics include the current European Society of Cardiology algorithm to rule out non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction, results from the PROMISE trial, and a review of antithrombotic therapy for ACS.
