AB  - Diabetes confers approximately a 2-fold excess risk for coronary heart disease, major stroke subtypes, and deaths that are attributed to other vascular causes. In this decade, about 10% of vascular deaths in developed countries have been tributable to diabetes in adults. This article discusses the risk of diabetes in patients who are on cardioprotective medications.
