Summary
Selected institutions without on-site cardiac surgery may be able to achieve similar outcomes after nonprimary percutaneous coronary intervention compared with institutions with on-site cardiac surgery, according to new findings from the Atlantic Cardiovascular Patient Outcomes Research Team Elective Angioplasty trial [C-PORT E; NCT00549796].
