AB  - Carotid endarterectomy (CEA) and carotid artery stenting (CAS) are viable options for revascularization, and these strategies are comparable with regard to safety and efficacy for the prevention of ischemic strokes. However, the favorability of CEA and CAS varies according to individual risk factors. This article discusses results from the Carotid Revascularization Endarterectomy versus Stenting [CREST] Trial.
