AB Adult flatfoot deformity is often treated surgically with subtalar arthroereisis or lateral column lengthening. In a study that evaluated clinical and radiographic outcomes among 18 patients who underwent either procedure, no significant differences in radiographic outcomes were evident at 18 months, although the subtalar arthroereisis group had significantly higher SF-36 Health Survey Update scores.
