Summary
Computerized tomography coronary angiography can improve provider diagnosis certainty in the diagnosis of angina due to coronary heart disease. The SCOT-HEART trial showed that use of computerized tomography coronary angiography for angina diagnosis improved clinician certainty and it influenced further diagnostic testing and treatment decisions in the health system investigated.
