Liraglutide, Roflumilast Improve Body Weight in Obese Women With PCOS

Summary

Liraglutide or roflumilast treatment of obese women with polycystic ovarian syndrome resulted in significant weight loss from baseline compared with metformin. In addition, liraglutide treatment decreased serum glucose levels before and after a 120-minute oral glucose tolerance test, whereas roflumilast treatment decreased free testosterone levels and the free androgen index.
