AB  - The REGULATE-PCI trial compared REG1, a novel factor IXa inhibitor system for patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention, with bivalirudin for safety and efficacy outcomes. After just under a year of data collection, an unexpected increase in severe allergic reaction to the REG1 system led to early termination of the trial.
