Abstract:

Pharmacy education, like other professional schools and higher education in general, is in the process of transforming its curriculum. It is the premise of this article that such curriculum revision must include not only changing curricular content but developing new organizational structures and environments in which the curriculum will be designed and delivered. One approach to creating new organizational structures is to engage in collaboration with internal and external colleagues and constituencies as part of the curriculum revision process. This article presents one school's experience in doing so, along with five guidelines for those who are attempting similar curricular reform.
